Camps are 100% horse-focused, with an emphasis on safety, education, and fun! Each day focuses on a different discipline, including english and western equitation, dressage, etc. There is plenty of hands-on horse time outside of riding, including grooming, clipping, bathing, braiding, etc, in addition to workshops on tack, health, and conformation. There will be a mini-show on Fridays for campers that wish to participate and show their skills to family and friends.
Camps are open to girls and boys ages 6 - 14 years, beginner to intermediate skill level. Small groups (maximum of 10 per session) — space is limited. Participants’ experience will be assessed on the first day; they will then be assigned to one of three smaller groups, each led by an experienced, enthusiastic counselor.
Participants should bring:
Bagged lunch (fridge and microwave available)
Long pants
Sturdy shoes with a heel
Own helmet preferred (some are available on-site) -bike helmets work!
